I switched to natural makeup a year ago.  All of my products are now toxin free, natural and not tested on animals.  They are just as good if not even better than my old MAC or conventional products.  Wherever you are in regards to your makeup collection I’d love to introduce you to a few natural brands and urge to just give them a try.

Going Green…I’ll help you make a few product switches easier by sharing a few of my favourite finds.  Everything is natural, toxin free and no testing on animals.  Plus they are #awesome!

{Eco fabulous bronzers}

I love bronzer for adding a bit of shape, definition as well as some much needed colour. To find out my favourite techniques join me in one of my how to do your own makeup workshops.  In the meantime let me tell you about my favourite bronzers by Lily Lolo. What do I love about them?

They are great for everyone as they are super blendable, can be used in multiuse ways (like in the image above I’m using it as an eyeshadow) these powder bronzers help to set your makeup, they have argan and jojoba oil in them which = equals added moisture.

Yup natural makeup is actually makeup with benefits!

If you are fair skinned, lighter tones-  I would go for ‘Miami Beach‘ you can build up the colour instead of looking like you’ve been given the Glasgow tan effect (google that if you don’t know what that means).  Think Emma Stone, Carey Mulligan, Adele.

If you are medium skin tone or like to use bronzer to add a contour:   ‘Honolulu‘ is your go to.  This colour reminds me most of Hoola by benefit or Laguna Bronzer by Nars.  It’s a matte colour making it good for contouring as well as adding a bit of colour.  This can be used by lighter skin tones too but use a light hand and build it up.  Anyone from Jessica Biel, Reese Wetherspoon to Mila Kunis

Darker skins or if you’re not afraid of a bit of bronzer: Montego Bay‘ This is great for tanned and darker skin tones, I really like this one it reminds me of the original terracotta bronzer by Guerlin…this was one of my first cult makeup products that I fell for.   Think Megan Markle, The Kardashians, anyone who likes an earthy, burnished toned bronzer.

Finally if you love a bit of highlight and contour action definitely check out the Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo….such a great buy!  It’s a fab wee palette to have in your makeup bag which also has a really lovely highlighter in it too….you will use it every day.

Would you like to learn how to apply your bronzer like a pro?  Come along to one of my makeup workshops.  Its great to learn makeup but also having a space where you can do something for yourself thats fun and relaxed. Have a sneak peek here.
